Social Security: February 2025 Payment Dates for Retirees


The Social Security Administration (SSA) has released the payment schedule for February 2025.


Retirees will receive payments based on their birth date, with an average benefit of $2,000 per month.
 

February 2025 Social Security Payment Dates

  • February 3 – For those who retired before May 1997
  • February 12 – For those born 1st–10th of the month
  • February 19 – For those born 11th–20th of the month
  • February 26 – For those born 21st–31st of the month

How Much Will You Receive?

Your Social Security payment depends on your earnings history and retirement age:

  • Retiring at 62: Around $1,278/month
  • Retiring at 66-67 (Full Retirement Age): Around $1,910/month
  • Retiring at 70: Around $2,342/month

Each person’s payment is calculated individually based on their work history and contributions.
